Moxeza

MOXEZA® (moxifloxacin HCI ophthalmic solution) 0.5% as base, is an antibiotic eye drop used to treat the most common eye infection, bacterial conjunctivitis.

Dose: MOXEZA® Solution is dosed two times per day for seven days.

Supplied:  4 mL bottle filled with 3 mL of sterile ophthalmic solution of moxifloxacin 3D MOXEZA 3mL TRD C_Lhydrochloride, 0.5% as base.

Pregnancy: (Category C)  Since there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, Moxeza™ solution should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

Children:  Moxeza is indicated for patients four months of age and older.

Warnings: Do not wear contact lenses while using MOXEZA® Solution. Patients should not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contaminating the contents.

Side Effects:  Serious side effects are not expected to occur during treatment with this medication.

Some eye burning, stinging, irritation, itching, dryness, redness, tearing; or blurred vision may occur.
